Watch Out Sarkozy - Soon, Olga's Gonna Be Running Paris!

I saw London...I saw France...I saw someone's...oh yeah well, ya know...
Olga, the Traveling Bra checking out her competition at the Sexodrome
I really didn't think I'd led a sheltered life here-to-fore, but after exposing me to the famous red-light district of Pigalle...my Chaperons declared my virgin(ish) cups officially popped! And rightfully so, too! I know some of you readers (Crusty, Hungry Mother, et al.) would love to hear all the scandalous details, but sorry...I don't believe in airing ones dirty laundry in public. Let's just say that the Lingerie Galerie at Le Sexodrome (a ginormous sex-shop across the street from the historic Moulin Rouge) was quite the eye/cup opener! Oooo-la-laaa!!!
Olga the Traveling Bra with April in ParisHey Look!...it's April in Paris!
And moi!
Oh! And the Eiffel Tower!Olga the Traveling Bra close up and personal with the Eiffel Tower in Paris France
Something about Paris really brings out my "artistic" side...
I think this shot is particularly très chic, no?Olga the Traveling Bra at Notre Dame CathedralWoo-hoo!...ooops, I mean.....Ouiiii-ouiiii!
Here I am in the front of Notre Dame with two of my
favorite-est blogger-buddies in the WORLD ~ Heather & Lisa!
Truly one of the HIGH points of my trip!Olga the Traveling Bra checking out the stars in Paris, France
Star light, star bright, first start I see tonight...
I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight...
Which is...to hang around Paris just a little bit longer... Olga, the Traveling Bra prays for strength, endurance, and not a lot of bounce, in upcoming the Paris Marathon to lend my support to this BRAVE woman as she runs (with ME!) in the
42,195 kilometer (26.2 miles) Paris Marathon on April 6th!
Guess my wish and her prayer paid off...
I just got told to lay off the croissants ~ 'cuz now I'm officially an in-training bra!
stay tuned....

That Mona Lisa Smile

Having a deep and abiding appreciation for all things big and beautiful,
I was very excited to be in the city of Paris - surrounded by some of the biggest and most beautiful pieces of art in the world! Olga the Traveling Bra visits The LouvreWoo-hoo! Here I am being hoisted up by one of my Pair O' Chaperons, Heather, in front of The Louvre! Unfortunately, I was unable to get any pictures inside the Museum...apparently the security guards lacked a sense of humor did not appreciate a big ol' bodacious wise-crackin' bra such as moi hanging around and oogling the Mona Lisa. (But just before Heather shoved me back into her purse, I swear I saw that Mona Lisa smile....)
Fortunately, the atmosphere over at The Museum of Depressionist Art
was much more relaxed and I was able to get a nice shot of this priceless masterpiece...

The Museum of Depressionist Art to see more wondrous works of art!)

A little wine and cheese and Olga the Traveling Bra
Later that evening, we visited the Paris apartment of our dear blogging buddy, Lisa of OMyWord ~ who, being the oh-so-gracious hostess that she is, promptly opened up a bottle of Champagne and a nice white Bordeaux, set out some luscious cremeaux cheese and pate, pickles and toasted bread.
Voila!...another masterpiece! Bon appetit!!!
A Still Life Portrait with Olga the Traveling Bra
And then, much to everyones surprise, Mona stopped by bearing more wine and...a disco ball! I asked her, "Why the disco ball?" Mona just smiled knowingly as she filled my cups with more Champagne and said,
"All things begin and end with disco balls, n'est-ce pas?"
The next thing I remember is waking up to the peculiar feeling of déjà vu creeping over me as I (once again) found myself in a rather awkward position...

Sacré bleu!
But at least now I know the answer to Nat King Cole's immortal question,
"Are you warm, are you real, Mona Lisa? Or just a cold and lonely lovely work of art?" Real. Definitely real.
