Olga Gets The Blues In Memphis, Tennessee
A trip to Memphis - the Home of The Blues and Birthplace of Rock 'n Roll - would not be complete without a trip to Beale Street! So I hit The Street
and got down and dirty... with the "Father of the Blues," W.C. Handy,
and then shook things up with The King of Rock 'n Roll
(and my Memphis Chaperon, The Rev, of course!)
(and my Memphis Chaperon, The Rev, of course!)
Inside Peabody Place, this big ol' southern bear was happy to pose with a bodacious yankee bra such as myself!
Then we peeked in at The Historic Daisy Theatre...
...and got peeked right back at!Finally, The Rev and I checked out the Mississippi River, The Mississippi River Bridge and The Memphis Pyramid (in the background.)
Hmmmm.....I'm thinking that river looks waaaay too cold for a baptism Rev!.....but I wonder......if we got a couple of donuts, would ya help me launch 'em up river at Speedy in Hollydale, Minnesota?

Looks like you would fit nicely on that bridge. Yep ... It' looks like a double d bridge for sure ;)
These are great photos! You and the Rev are having a grand time!
The bridge is a perfect fit for Olga's cups...I think it may have been designed with her in mind, now that I think about it.
We got quite a few strange looks from the parents around when we strung Olga up on that chocolate-lovin' bear....but the two just seemed to go together so well! ;)
I'm jealous! I wanna go there!
DaddyP - VERY OBSERVANT of you AGAIN! :) And you're RIGHT TOO!

Sad to see ya go, my dearest - we've had a blast with ya!
The petition has thus begun....
