2008 ~ WHAT A YEAR IT'S BEEN!

While I would LOVE to personally THANK everyone who has, in way way or another, supported me, my blog, and my mission of being the world's first (& only!) Traveling Bra to cover the entire globe...that would be impossible! But I want ya'll to know how much I truly appreciate each and every one of you...Chaperons, readers, friends and family. Never in my wildest dreams (well, maybe one or two) did I ever imagine that my old bra I would have the honor of uplifting and linking so many people, places, and things together. So thank you ALL from the bottom of my cups! And I hope you'll enjoy this little a trip down Mammary Lane...

The whole magic of the "Traveling Bra" lies in people. People sharing parts of them, and who they are. In many ways, we are so alike in all corners of the globe. The need to connect ... the will to share a smile, and power to love.
A simple concept of sending an artical of clothing has created such a sense of unity and friendship.
Each and every chaperone has been incredibly entertaining and unique. I always look forward to Olga's next destination, especially when it is a blogger I know.
Crazy ... a little, that Olga has really taken on a personality, a history, and comradery of this blogs readers. As I watched this video it was like watching the travels of a family member. How cool is that?
I LOVED this year end wrap up - a LOT. Really well done

As I look back on 2008, I see time gliding by so quickly ... far faster than usual. This year was much more busy than years previous.
My instant thoughts of remberance are family. Spending time with my grandaughter, seeing my brothers family and kids on holidays, playing golf with my best friend in the entire world ... my father, and talking with my mother. People are the glue that bind us, and reflect sunshine directly into our hearts.
Of course, having Olga in Hollydale was a big highlight too, and I believe I learned something about myself as I proudly held up a bra in the middle of a city. I did things during Olga's visit that ordinarily I would never do. Days that contain drastic departures from everyday life are so invigorating. I do not remember the hundreds of days that I went to work and then came home. Special days stand out. In all reality, we are truly a large file of memories.
Thanks for all the memories here on this video, on this blog over the year, and in my own life.
Most of all, I am proud and glad to call you my friend.

Happy New Year Olga - (smile)
Something tells me that 2009 will be even better.

Bon Voyageee !!!!!!!!!!!

2008? Hmmmm....so many, many things have happened!

Sadly, it doesn't look like Olga & The Rev. are meant to meet this year, but that'll make the start of 2009 just that much better!

In all seriousness, 2008, for The Rev., has truly been a blessing. I've met so many wonderful folks on this ol' internet thang (hint, hint, nudge, nudge).

See you soon!

Oh, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

It's been fun getting to know you over at Twitter. I don't know if I have a favorite memory. But my favorite moment was listening to my vm and learning I received my doula certification from DONA. WOOOHOOOT!

My Dear Olga (and her gorgeous keeper)...

My fav memory was taking Olga to church at Sacre Couer. And I was too much of a formerly Catholic chicken to do the deed. :-)

My fav memory for myself in 2008? Hmmm. It's a collage actually, of all the meals I've had here at home, or out in restaurants, with my friends here in Paree. I love the food and wine and great friends. That's the best!

I wish you and yours a really cozy, safe, warm holiday and a breast full o' dollars for the new year!

Silly Olga, I couldn't pick just one memory from your stay here... my own cups runneth over with all the good thoughts. I shall never visit a mountain without remembering your trip with us, your driving the fraccy family car, shopping, hiking and then filling the fraccy home with the happy sounds of your girl's night around the piano.

He doesn't get too much right you know (he is old after all...) but DP said it well.
